Pre-Harvest Treatments

The following information pertaining to each pre-harvest treatment should be advised to us.
  1. Growers’ names.
  2. Crop.
  3. Varieties.
  4. Chemicals applied. This should include the following pesticides:- acaricides; bactericides; fungicides; insecticides and nemacides.
  5. Confirmation that each chemical is cleared for use in the country of origin of the produce.
  6. The trade name and manufacturer of the chemical.
  7. The manufacturer’s approved clearance time for application prior to harvest.
  8. Concentration and volume of chemical used per acre or hectare.
  9. Method of chemical application.
  10. Programme of treatments including dates of application where known.
  11. Weather conditions during and after the application or treatment.
  12. Growth stage of the crop when each application is, or was made.
  13. Date of first harvest after application.
  14. Confirmation that all hazardous chemicals are kept in a locked store and are only applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and only used by trained and authorised staff.
Please note where information is provided prior to the completion of pre-harvest treatments, amendments to forecasts supplied should be advised.
